Emily Orndorff is a Strategic Advisor to DataMoose and a transformational executive with more than 20 years of experience driving operational excellence, financial stewardship, and organizational growth across nonprofit and technology sectors. She brings a rare ability to align strategy with execution, helping organizations scale effectively while strengthening relationships with boards, donors, and community stakeholders.

Most recently, Emily served as Chief Operating Officer at United Way Space Coast, where she led enterprise-wide modernization across finance, technology, human resources, donor services, marketing, fundraising, and community impact. She directed the financial stewardship of a $10M annual budget, improved operational efficiency through system integrations and automation, and enabled real-time, data-driven decision making across the organization. Her leadership contributed to increased donor engagement, improved staff performance, and measurable growth in both fundraising outcomes and community investment.

Prior to that, Emily held executive leadership roles at United Way of Brevard, including Vice President of Operations and IT and Chief Technology Officer, where she oversaw organizational strategy, technology infrastructure, and data-driven decision making. She also served with distinction as interim Vice President of Finance during a critical period, reinforcing her ability to lead through complexity and change.

In the technology sector, Emily served as Director of Data Services at Bonterra Tech, leading high-performing data engineering teams and dramatically improving delivery timelines, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency while supporting millions in new client growth.

Emily’s leadership style is grounded in accountability, clarity, and results. She is known for building high-performing teams, navigating complex transformations, and translating operational challenges into practical, scalable solutions that drive measurable impact.

A relationship-driven leader and trusted advisor, Emily excels at connecting strategy, technology, and operations to unlock growth and long-term value. She is a graduate of the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and is deeply committed to helping mission-driven organizations leverage data, technology, and strong leadership to scale their impact and create lasting community change.
